A freedom fighter died of heart attack at village Aunupnagar in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district when he was enjoying with others in a tea stall hearing the news of his sisters’ son winning in the election of Baridi union parishad as chairmen on Monday (November 29).
The deceased was identified as Ikarot Hossain Malitha, 70, son KhokaMalitha of village Aunupnagar in the upazila.
According to family sources, Independent candidate Tobarok Hossain won in Baradi union parishad election as chairman on November 28.
On November 29 his mothers’ brother Ikarot Hossain acknowledged the news, went to a tea stall of the village, joined with others and was enjoying to sit on a chair.
