FF dies from COVID-19 in Dhamrai

Freedom Fighter Md. Ratan Miah of Dhamrai died from COVID-19 at Manikganj Sadar Hospital on Wednesday morning. He was 70.

Ratan Miah was tested positive with COVID-19 for last couple of days, and later he was taken to Manikganj Sadar Hospital when his physical condition deteriorated, and finally breath his last around 9:00 am on Wednesday morning. 

He was son of Cherag Ali Mondol, hailed from Paragram area under Chouhat union of Dhaka's Dhamrai upazila, besides he was joined with Mukti Bahini and fought for the country liberation war in 1971.

S M A Kalam, son-in-law of the deceased told The Bangladesh Post, Ratan Miah served for the country and social service a large portion of his life. He left  his wife, son, two of Daughter and many well wishers. 

All are expressed mourn of his death.

He was suffering breathing difficulties since he affected, and he was burried at family-graveyard at Dhamrai, after given him Guard Of Honour and his Namaz-E-Janazah, Kalam added.
