FF Commander Sahabuddin dies of Corona

Md. Sahabuddin (68), Chattogram District Commander of Muktijoddha Sangsad died due to physical complications after being infected with Covid-19 virus.

 His son-in-law Raisul Uddin Saikat, owner of Albion Group, said he died at a private hospital in the city on Friday morning.  He is survived by his wife, 1 son and 3 daughters.

Sahabuddin was in the ICU on March 27 after being diagnosed with Covid-19 positive.  He was taken home on April 15 after a sample test came back negative.

 His son-in-law Raisul Uddin Saikat said, “His physical condition suddenly deteriorated on Friday morning.  He died after being taken to hospital again. ”

Sahabuddin will be buried at the family graveyard in Maliyaish area of Mirsarai upazila.

 Leaders of Muktijoddha Sangsad Chittagong Metropolitan Unit and Muktijoddha Sontan Command along with Awami League Central Presidium Member and Mirsarai MP Engineer Mosharraf Hossain have also expressed their condolences over the death of Muktijoddha Commander Sahabuddin.

Awami League presidium member former minister and sector commander Freedom Fighter Engineer Mosharraf Hossain MP, CCC mayor Md Rezaul Karim, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Chittagong district unit commander Freedom Fighter Mozaffar Ahmed and others expressed their condolences over the death of the heroic freedom fighter.
