Ferdous, Purnima to conduct NFA ceremony

On December 8, the recipients of the National Film Award (NFA) will be awarded their by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The second phase of the programme will be held at the Hall of Fame auditorium of the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital which will contain a great cultural programme.

It is learned that this year, the national film awards ceremony will be presented by the popular faces Ferdous and Purnima. A source close to the information ministry confirmed the information.

The two stars of the film have earned the reputation of being presenters for several years. Ferdous-Purnima has been seen many times together hosting shows. 

They were at the same position during last year's National Film Awards. They are going to get this responsibility for the second time in a row. 

Ferdous said, “I and Purnima have hosted many events together. However, the National Film Awards stage is different from everything else. The Prime Minister will be present there. Many important people of the country will also be present there. At the same time, it is a mix of people from film industry. Hopefully it will be a good experience like last year.”

Meanwhile, this time, Ferdous will receive the award as the best hero from the Prime Minister. Regarding the milestone for his career, the hero of ‘Hothat Brishti’ said, “This is something truly special to me.”
