A primary school teacher of Rajshahi district has donated her one month's salary to the relief fund of Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) aiming to assist the low-income group of people during the Coronavirus situation.
Kaniz Fatema, Assistant Teacher of Uposahar Model Primary School on Wednesday donated Taka 15,000, one month's basic salary to the relief fund of Mayor of RCC.
In a letter to the Mayor, teacher Kaniz Fatema said, as a conscious citizen of the country she was standing beside him by donating Taka 15,000 to the Relief Fund of Mayor to assist the poverty-stricken people of the city. Mayor of RCC AHM Khairuzzman Liton, however, accepted the donation with thanks and termed it as a humanitarian example.
