The woman has filed a written complaint at the Kotwali police station in Jashore at 8.00 pm. Police also arrest the rapist in this connection at 12.30 am.
The victim said, she worked for a long time at the Daratana Hotel. On the day of the incident, another hotel worker Masum call her, she come to the hotel for work at 6.00 am.
After coming to the hotel, she went to hotel owner Sohrab Hossain's room to take vegetables. When she entered the room, Sohrab closed the door and raped her forcibly. Even when she was crying, no one came forward to protect her.
The woman told her husband when returned to her house on the night.
Then husband and wife both went to the Jashore kotwali police station at around 8:00 pm and filed a written complaint of rape.
The victim demanded punishment of the rapist. Medical test of the woman was completed.
The general secretary of Jashore District Hotel Restaurant Workers' Union, Tajul Islam, said that a written complaint was given to the police station after the hotel worker was raped.
Inspector (Operation) Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury of Jashore Kotwali Police Station said they received the complaint of the woman. The incident is being investigated. The legal action will be taken. Police also arrest the rapist.
