Popular small screen actress Shabnam Faria has been at home for a long time due to coronavirus. Although the shooting of films and dramas accordion to the health rules has started, she is not returning to work at the moment. A Mizan  writes after talking to her on various contexts.

When will you return to work?

Right now I'm not thinking of going back to work because it will not be right to get back to work in this situation. My mother is at home and she has heart problems. She is also aged. So I don’t want to take any risks by going back to work at the moment.

Won’t you even shoot the dramas that are ongoing at the moment?

I will not return to work at this moment. The condition projects that it is unlikely to return to work this month. If the situation becomes normal then I will get back to work on the ongoing drama series by the middle of next month.

Several of your dramas have been aired on Eid. How did you get did the audience respond?

I did not do any work for Eid. However, eight or nine of my dramas have been aired on the previous Eid. I don't remember the names of the dramas except one or two.

I was a little disappointed that I did not get much audience response for the dramas. However, my film 'Debi' has been aired. I got a lot of response for that.

In fact, people want to see good work and also respond to good work. People want to see good content on Eid. Old dramas have been aired more on this Eid. This time no one really had to do anything.

But even after the release of Debi, you have not been seen in any new film. Why?

I didn't get the film I wanted to work on. I definitely want to work in films. I will work in films if I get a story as per my choice.

How are you spending this time under lockdown?

I'm not doing much. I am at home, talking to my mother, eating, the time passes away. I don't feel bad about living under lockdown.

One thing I feel bad about is not meeting the people I work with. I miss them very much. I also have some colleagues who are low-income. I feel worse for them in this situation.

Are you getting frustrated while staying at home?

It feels a little bad because I had to stay at home even on Eid day. During the normal Eid days, I used to visit the houses of my relatives and friends. This time I could not go anywhere.

What do you want to do first when the coronavirus period is over?

I will return to work but besides that there is no special plan. This situation will take a long time to return to normal even if I want to go on tour.
