FBCCI team leaves for US to attend UNGA

A high level trade delegation of The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) left Dhaka for the United States on Sunday evening to attend the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations as the entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Md. Jashim Uddin, President, FBCCI is leading the business delegation.

While in the United States, apart from attending the General Assembly the FBCCI Business Delegation will join various programs to be held there.

The delegation will take part in a meeting titled 'Bangladesh Forward: The New Frontier for Growth' organized by the US-Bangladesh Business Council on Tuesday, September 21 in honor of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence.

FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin will attend the conference titled 'New World New Hope: United Nations and Bangladesh' organized on the sidelines of the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations initiated by NRB Worldwide Inc. on Thursday.

The FBCCI trade delegation will be present at the Deliver of Statement at the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly on Friday, September 24. FBCCI leaders will take part in a business meeting organized by the US-Bangladesh Business Alliance (ABBA) that evening.

FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin will be the special guest at the conference titled "New World New Hope: US-Bangladesh Socio-Economic Perspectives" organized by NRB Worldwide on Sunday, September 26.

The other members of the FBCCI business delegation include Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Senior Vice President, Md. Aminul Haque Shamim, Vice President, Salahuddin Alamgir, Vice President, M. A. Razzak Khan Raj, Vice President, Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) M.P, Former President,  A M Naimur Rahman, M.P, Managing Director, Chase Power Limited, Benjir Ahmed, M.P, Former Director, FBCCI.
