In observance of the National Mourning Day, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Saturday held a discussion meeting and doa mahfil at FBCCI Conference Centre. Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen attended the meeting as chief guest while Salman F Rahman, Adviser to Prime Minister attended as the Special Guest with FBCCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim in the chair.
Former Presidents of FBCCI Mr. M A Kashem, Mahbubur Rahman, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Mir Nasir Hossain and A K Azad were present as Panel discussants.
Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen, in his speech described Bangabandhu’s visionary programs and the welfare activities for the common people. He also mentioned the recent socio-economic advancements of Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
To achieve the desired goal, the Minister emphasized the skill development of the citizens, and the public-private effort for the social welfare. FBCCI Vice-Présidents, Directors and a large number of General Body Members of FBCCI were present on the occasion.
