FBCCI president, Sheikh Fazle Fahim on Sunday laid emphasize on expanding bilateral trade and investment between Bangladesh and Kuwait.
The President of the apex trade body, Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) made the observation while he was exchanging views during a courtesy call, he paid on the newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Kuwait Major General Md Ashikuzzaman.
Fahim congratulated the new ambassador on his ascension to the new responsibility during the meet.
He handed over a memorandum on behalf of FBCCI to Ashikuzzaman.
The ambassador said he would continue to work closely on bilateral, regional, global and trade issues of Bangladesh-Kuwait common interest.
FBCCI Director Md Munir Hossain and Additional Secretary Md Mamunur Rahman along with senior officials of the organisation were also present during the handing over of the memorandum.
