A high-level business delegation led by FBCCI, for enhancing bilateral trade relation, reached India on a four-day visit as entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The business delegation on Monday morning left Shahjalal International Airport for India. FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin leads the business delegation.
Vice President Md. Amin Helaly will be serving as acting president of FBCCI till the President and his delegation returns.
On September 06, 2022, Tuesday afternoon, the FBCCI delegation will participate in a meeting titled "New Horizons of India Bangladesh Economic Relations" with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
On September 07, 2022, Wednesday morning, a meeting will be held between FBCCI and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
In evening, FBCCI is scheduled to participate in the India-Bangladesh Business Forum organized by Assocham.
The 62-member business delegation includes Former FBCCI president Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) MP, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, FBCCI senior vice-president Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice-President M A Razzak Khan Raj, former director Selima Ahmad MP, Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan among others.
