Prachyanat has organised the month-long ‘Mahala Magan’ in compliance with health rules. The event has been going on at Prachyanat’s own rehearsal room in Kataban.
In the continuation the premier show of ‘Faust or Someone Else’ will be staged at the event tomorrow evening. The play is thought, supervised and acted by Tanji Kun, Chetona Rahman Vasha, Prajna Tasnuva Rubaiyat, Gopi Devnath, Shafaat Khan, Faisal Ibne Mizan (Ratul).
There will be two exhibitions of the play on Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. 20 spectators will get a chance to watch the play in each exhibition.
The story revolves around the plot as such, “God created man as the best of his creation. Those who were supposed to be the best in gratitude to the Creator became the controllers of destruction, war and wailing. It is true that man goes astray, but at some point he realizes the mistake and returns to the right path, this is the hope of the optimistic creator. Mephistopheles challenges God, saying that even the most loyal servant of God can be removed from the path of obedience, because man is such a creation. Faust is unhappy with the material greed and selfishness of the people around him, but he also longs for success, wealth, and reputation. No one knows. And God may be hoping that people who have gone astray will one day return to the right path ... In today’s age of capitalism, globalization, how many hundreds of Mephistopheles have ensnared Faust, Margaret, Wagner, Martha or anyone else in their nefarious plan?”
At the end of the play, there will be a discussion on mental health in the second part - "Psychosocial Analysis and Present".
