She impressed fans and critics alike with her performance in ‘Dangal’ four years ago, and hasn’t looked back ever since. Fatima Sana Shaikh, who has acted in a number of movies over the years, isn’t disheartened at the slow pace of her career.
Rather, she is happy with the roles coming her way, and in an earlier interview said she was in no hurry to prove a point to anyone with her role choices. The actress recently posted a throwback image from the sets of the hit film and fondly recalled shooting for the project, which also starred Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra and Aparshakti Khurana.
Fatima was in the news a couple of weeks ago after a fire broke out at her Mumbai house.
She shared news about the incident on her Instagram stories and thanked the Mumbai Fire Brigade for their prompt and timely action. She wrote, “A fire broke at my place right now and in a panic state I called the fire department and they were here in no time. And took care of the situation. Thank you so much Mumbai fire brigade.”
On the work front, Fatima had two releases this year - Anurag Basu’s multi-starrer ‘Ludo’ and Abhishek Sharma’s ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’. —Times of India
