5 out of 6 burnt patient of cylinder explosion of 16th April were admitted to Bogra Ziaur Rahman Medical College in critical condition. When the condition of 3 patients got worse they were immediately admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital Burnt Unit. Even after struggling to live the father and son could not survive death.
On 19th April Sunday night Seikh Kalam son of Abul Seikh died and on 20th April Monday early morning his Father Abul Seikh died while ongoing medical treatment. Another member of the family Kalu Seikh is still struggling in the Dhaka Medical Burnt Unit. The death of father and son made the Seikh Para Society grief-striken.
