A man named Abdul Hamid (55) has been accused of raping his daughter-in-law in Singra, Natore. The victim lodged a written complaint against her father-in-law Abdul Hamid at Singra police station on Saturday night. The accused Abdul Hamid is the son of late Chan Ali of Biyash Chakpara village in the upazila. He is a farmer by profession.
On Friday afternoon, April 10, Abdul Hamid held a knife to his daughter-in-law neck and raped her when no one was home. Singra Police Station OC Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui said, "I have received a written complaint about this incident." Legal action will be taken as per the investigation.
