A farmer was killed by lightening at villege Chakulia in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district on April 26. The deceased was identified as Tanbhir Rahman Nannu, 20, son of Anwarul Islam of village Chakulia in the upazila.
Shan Enamul Kabir Inu, Chairman of Kurulgasi Union Parishad and Mahbubur Rahman, OC of Darshana Police Station said Tanbhir and his father were putting fertilizers on jute plants on the day. Tanbhir was struck by lightening with thunder leaving him dead.
