Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Faridpur Atul Sarker has continued public service in various areas, including awareness raising, alertness in health service, emergency relief of the unemployed and poor people. The district is not lagging behind in electronic filing (e-filing) as a whole despite dealing with the coronavirus crisis.
Faridpur District Administration has once again achieved the first position this month after receiving the first position last month. According to Access to Information (A2I) sources, the districts in the country are divided into 25 for e-filing. The Faridpur District Administration has achieved the first position in March out of the 25 districts in this category.
Faridpur district administration achieved the first position by issuing a total of 27,188 posts. At the same time, the number of notes created by the district administration in Faridpur district itself is 4 thousand 774, the notes created by post 7 thousand 777, notes made on the net are 9 thousand 904, notes made in the inter-system paper are 3 thousand 830 and 8 thousand 951 in e-mail.
Earlier, the Faridpur district administration achieved the first rank in the results of February. At that time, 25 thousand 985 posts were established by Faridpur district administration. Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarkar urged all working to ensure that Faridpur district administration is not left behind in the current global coronavirus disaster. All working in the district administration are collaborating together to tackle disaster and e-filing.
It is to be noted that Atul Sarkar joined as Deputy Commissioner of Faridpur on June 23 last year. On the first day, he discussed the e-filing as part of the Digital Bangladesh Buildings announced by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in consultation with those working in the district administration.
Since then he closely monitored the issue. In his relentless efforts, the e-filing ranking in the country has risen from the lowest to the highest in the Faridpur district administration. As a result, the Faridpur District Administration has been consistently attaining the first position for the last two months.
