Since the independence of the country there have always been people and groups who worked against the liberation of the Bangalee nation. However, there have also been people who have stood their ground in order to fight for independence and establish its glory. Only now, after nearly 50 years of Bangladesh’s independence, has a solid ground been created where people can live with their heads held high with the consciousness of freedom.

According to a report published in this daily, the anti-liberation forces have again started raising their ugly heads to establish themselves. They are trying to create anarchy in the country centring the construction of sculptures of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangabandhu is a symbol of freedom for all Bangladeshis and also one of the greatest political figures the world has ever seen.

There have been processions and insinuations

being instigated by these antiliberation forces to

disrupt the civil life of Bangladeshi people

To create a disruption of democracy and create anarchy in the country because of the construction of sculptures of the Father of the Nation speaks clearly of fundamentalist mentality of the people who are supporting this argument.  The report also shed light on how there have been processions and insinuations being instigated by these antiliberation forces to disrupt the peaceful life of Bangla deshi people.

However, the ruling Awami League, its different associate bodies, including Bangladesh Chhatra League and Jubo League and many other pro-liberation organisations are active in favour of the construction of sculptures of Bangabandhu.

We hope that the vested groups would deter themselves from instigating or taking part in such activities. It disrupts the civil life of the public and also creates fabricated versions of a truth that is accepted globally.
