A former ASI of Bulanpur area of Rajshahi city at a press conference held at Rajshahi Press Club on Wednesday has complained of hatching a plot to kill him or to involve him in murder case allegedly by his wife, son and daughters.
As a result, the former ASI Nazul Islam son of Haji Anes Sarder of Shibganj upazila under Chapainawabganj district, presently living at Bulanpur of Rajshahi City, is spending his life in utter insecurity.
Nazurl Islam informed being attacked with heart disease, he took retirement from the job in 2017. Soon after his retirement, his wife Nasima, son Nadim and two daughters started to conspire against him to grab all his properties and even attempted to kill him.
Last year he was struck with a glass bottle on the head and got injured when none of the family members came forward to help him. Later he suffered a brain stroke and in absence of any care, he was forced to marry another woman so that she can take care of him.
He further complained whenever he returned home from the hospital, his wife, son and daughters snatched away the prescriptions of the treatment, Deed of the house and cash money from his possession and ousted him from his house.
On November 21, his son and daughter hit him with weapons by closing the door in a planned way. The same time, his wife Nasima allegedly tried to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on her body and tried to intricate him in an attempted murder case.
He complained, he is now under grave threat and that is why he seeks intervention of the higher authorities of RMP to ensure his security.
However, none of the accused persons was available over the mobile phone for a comment.
Shahadat Hossain Khan, Officer-in-charge of Rajpara police station in this connection said, it is the duty of the police to ensure security. The legal measure will be taken whenever a case is filed in this connection.
