A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 conducted a raid at Sanarpar area at Shiddhirganj in Narayanganj on Wednesday night and awarded jail terms to a fake physician and clinic’s manager.
RAB Headquarters’ magistrate Saroar Alam led the mobile court and awarded two years imprisonment to the fake physician and one year imprisonment to the clinic’s manager.
The convicted are Tanvir Ahmed Sarkar, 34, son of Abdul Motin Choudhury of Debidwar in Cumilla, and clinic’s manager Abul Bashar, 32, son of Shabul Molla.
The magistrate also sealed the unauthorized clinic.
Major Talukdar Najmus Sakib in a media brief said that they conducted raid at Sanarpar area in an unauthorized clinic named Health Care Adunik Hospital and diagnostic centre where they found fake physician who did not show any certificate in favor MBBS. Tanvir passed HSC in 2009 in commerce faculty.
