RAB detained a fake homeopath doctor named Biswajit Acharja from Cornelhat area of Chattogram city on charges of cheating on Tuesday night.
RAB Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun informed this in a press release on Wednesday.
Detained Biswajit is the son of a late sculptor of North Katrali area. He did not have a registration to give homeopathic treatment and he was selling a fake corona antidote.
The ASP informed Biswajit had been detained from the Cornelhat area of the city on charges of cheating commoners with a fake corona antidote.
Although he needed registration with the Homoeopathic Board to give homeopathic treatment, he did not have it.
