FBCCI President Sheikh F Fahim left Dhaka for China on Friday to attend 2019 Silk Road Business Summit. The three day summit, organized by Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) kicks off Friday and scheduled to run till Sunday.
FBCCI President Sheikh F Fahim will attend the Executive Board and General Assembly meetings of SRCIC on the first day of summit.
FBCCI President Sheikh F Fahim will attend a parallel forum on ‘Projects and the Sustainable development of Belt and Road initiative’ on the 2nd day of summit while he will deliver a presentation on the possible ways to promote the private sector and to overcome development challenges in Bangladesh through the Belt and Road cooperation.
FBCCI President Sheikh F Fahimin his speech, will also highlight the FBCCI’s role as the umbrella trade organization of Bangladesh working closely with policy makers, stakeholders at national and international platforms including enhanced engagements with WEF, CWEIC, UN, WTO, ITC, in addition to earlier international engagements such as ICC, SRCIC (Silk route), SCCI & over 97 working relations with international counterparts.
Fahim will also make a vedio presentation on ‘Rising Bangladesh’ at the parallel forum. Besides he will attend different parallel forums of Silk Road Business Summit 2019.
