A factory worker was stabbed to death by unknown criminals at Khansaheb cricket stadium area under Fatulla police station on Saturday night.
Deceased was identified as Liton, 25, son of Gouromoni, resident of Paharpur village under Azmeree police station in Habiganj district. He was a worker of Superstar Bulb Factory at Ramarbagh area near cricket stadium. An eye-witness Mohon who is a mason confirmed that Liton was attacked by some criminals 5-6 and was stabbed with sharp weapons. The source also added Liton concluded his job at around 10 PM and he was going to his tenant resident on foot.
When he reached the stadium area and then he came under attack.
Deceased’s wife Shikha Sarker filed a murder case mentioning two accused name and unnamed 3-4 with Fatulla police station.
Police already arrested an accused named Sajib.
Officer-in-charge of Fatulla model police station Rakibuzzaman told the clue behind the killing to be detected soon.
