I am fascinated and fascinated by the geographical diversity and features as well as the aesthetic appearance of Chattogram city surrounded by mountains, rivers, seas, and plains.'
The US ambassador said this during a meeting with Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury at his office on Wednesday afternoon.
He said, ‘One of the most important ports in Asia is Chattogram seaport. For this reason, merchants, tourists, and traders from different parts of the world have come to this region in the distant past. That is why the identity, appreciation, importance, and fame of Chattogram has been appreciated all over the world since then.'
The ambassador said, ‘The United States is also interested in investing in Chattogram.’ In particular, the next steps will be taken after investing and feasibility study in education, health, ICT, and tourism.
He said, "We believe that Chattogram will soon be integrated as an effective link of regional and global connectivity in the way big projects have been and are being implemented." If the participation of the world's major economic powers is ensured in all the economic zones that have been formed here, its positive impact will be reflected not only in Bangladesh or the region but globally. '

The tunnel built through the Karnafuli bottom is going to turn Chittagong into a 'One City to Town'. If the railway is extended to Cox's Bazar, it will open the door of communication to China through Myanmar. '
CCC mayor said, ‘The economic zones of Mirsarai and South Chattogram will show signs of industrialization. The whole of Chattogram will shine in the tourism industry. Therefore, our big task and responsibility now are to create a favorable environment for domestic and foreign investment.
This work must be done collectively. This requires the support and participation of global economic powers. At the same time, we want to focus on foreign investment in economic zones, as well as public-private partnerships (PPP). "
