Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon inaugurated the extended, elevated platform of Dianjpur railway station on Monday afternoon.
Among others, the inaugural programme of the extended platform was attended, by Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur Mahmudul Alam, Superintendent of Police of Dinajpur Anowarul Islam PPM, Chairman of Dinajpur Zila Parishad Azizul Imam Chowdhury, Vice -President of Dinajpur district Railaway Shramik League Majedul Islam Majed, AL, Chhatra League, Jubo Legue, Mohila AL leaders.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujon informed, a huge development works of the railway are being performed not only in Dinajpur but also in other places of the country. Dhaka Metrorail will be inaugurated soon. Bangladesh railway will turn to a role model of development in the world, he added.
