Extended meeting of Munshiganj Jatiya Party held

Munshiganj District Jatiya Party has held an extended meeting. The meeting was held at Rista Party Center on the second floor of Muktijoddha Sangsad around 11:30 am on Saturday.

Jatiya Party General Secretary Advocate Mujibul Haque Chunnu MP was present as the chief guest in the meeting. Munshiganj District Jatiya Party Member Secretary Alhaj Abdul Baten presided over the function as a special guest Advocate Sheikh Muhammad Sirajul Islam, Constitutional Specialist, Jatiya Party Presidium and Additional Secretary General of Rajshahi Division, Mir Abdus Sabur Asud Special Assistant to the Presidium Member and Chairman, Md. Jamal Hossain, Advisor of Chairman & Former MP, Jatiya Party Vice Chairman Arifur Rahman Khan, Jatiya Party Joint Secretary General Md. Noman Mia, Jatiya Party Senior Joint Secretary General Golam Mohammad Raju, Jatiya Party Organizing Secretary Md. Helal Uddin, Jatiya Party Organizing Secretary Humayun Khan, Jatiya Party Publicity Secretary Md. Masudur Rahman Masum, Jatiya Party Education Secretary Mizanur Rahman Miru, Jatiya Party member Kakli Akter Kakon and others.

District, upazila and municipal leaders gave constructive speeches under the direction of Md. Asaduzzaman Babul, former senior joint general secretary of district Jatiya Party and general secretary of Munshiganj Sadar Upazila Jatiya Party.

Speaking as the chief guest, Jatiya Party Secretary General Advocate Mujibul Haque Chunnu MP said, "I am the first in Parliament to pass a law for elderly parents. Later it was passed in the form of law. As a result, children will not be able to neglect their parents if they want to.”

Regarding the demands of the committee of leaders of different levels of Jatiya Party in Munshiganj, this leader said that he does not have the power to authorise forming a committee. The committee will be given by party chairman GM Quader. He will convey the demands of grassroots leaders to the party chairman. He later promised to set up a committee in Munshiganj to evaluate the renegade leaders. Regarding the education system, he said, the current education system should be radically changed and a work-oriented education system should be introduced.
