Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited inagurates its 126th branch at Mongla in Bagerhat. The Mayor of the Khulna city corporation Talukder Abdul Khaleque inagurated the branch on Sunday in a ceremony held at Mongla Road Branch. The Managing Director & CEO Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah was also present as special guest in the program with Mohammad Feroz Hossain the Additional Managing Director of the bank in the chair.
While addressing Talukder Abdul Khaleque said that to maintain the continuity of economic development, construction of Airport and other various development activities have been started in Mongla, so it is very essential to increase of banking activities in this area. He also mentioned that to open a branch by a renowned bank like EXIM Bank is a right decision in the right time. On the other hand, in the speech of special guest, the Managing Director & CEO of the bank Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah has mentioned about the various multifaceted investment projects of the bank to strengthen the economy and to promote the business of the bank.
Mentioning about the receipt of various international medal & recognition, he also requested the local businessmen and young entrepreneurs to co-operate EXIM Bank in their all sorts of CSR and other activities. The prominent person of the locality and the Executives of the Head Office of the bank were also present at the program.
