Excitement runs high among ARMY

An excitement runs high among young people across the globe over the 7th anniversary of the biggest boy band BTS today (Saturday).

With deep passionate and love, the fans, who are usually called ARMY continued greeting BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, a seven-member South Korean boy band, according to internet sources.

“The BTS has the power to empower it army as much as do its seven starts. I feel strong inside when I watch its performance. Besides, the BTS’s music gives a me a confidence boost,” a Bangladeshi fan said on Friday.

The seven members of band are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. These seven stars faces are very well-known at every corner of the world. And they continued to inspiring fans in many ways till date.

The BTS and ARMY believe the same ideology and they love each other very much.

The fans believe that BTS will do better throughout the fresh year and will come up with more melodious and lyrics worthy songs.

The band has already completed its seven years journey. And it steps into eighth year, another fresh year on 13th June.

In the last seven years of the journey, the BTS’s melodious songs with touchy words, different style of dances and sophisticated colourful costumes charmed many youths in different foreign countries.

On the occasion of 7th year celebration, the BTS and ARMY shared, One In An ARMY has teamed up with BTS fanbases from different parts of the globe for a project called 7 With ARMY

The band has made a phenomenon impact with their music. In spite of the well-deserved international recognition, the members of BTS have stayed to their roots and had emphasized on being 7 normal boys from South Korea.

Their latest album Map of The Soul: 7 released this year on 21st February.

And once again these guys broke so many records around the world.

Even before MOTS:7 came out, it has already made history by accumulating 4.02 million pre-orders, making it the most pre-ordered album ever from South Korea.

The band had the biggest debut of 2020 by selling a total of 422,000 album-equivalent units, surpassing the previous record-holder, Eminem, whose Music to be Murdered By sold 279,000 album-equivalent units after it dropped on Jan 17.

Talking to Rehnuma Shawlin, a BTS fan and a first year BBA student at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University since 2016, she fell in love with BTS as soon as she had watched many of its hit music videos, ‘Blood, sweat & tears’.

Asking her how BTS helped her with any kind of difficulties she replied with a smile that, “BTS is my only one recreation and motivational source from 2016. “

“They make me feel consoled, happy and much more to live my life with smile. Their hardship motivated me a lot during my admission exam period. I was very lazy, aimless student before I met them. I didn’t know how to deal with any kind of breakdown. Their passions taught me why I should go further to enlighten myself.”

Speaking of the hates BTS still receive from non-listeners, Shawlin said, “Yes It’s true that there are haters out there. But as long as we have faith in our boys, it won’t go away. We don’t care about any bad comments because none of these will change our love for them.”

Along with Shawlin another person Pretty Afroz who has been a fan since 2019 said, “Actually I feel so pity for those haters who do that. I think they are still locked at different language, looks. They actually don't want understand that the world has progressed much .Now Language isn't necessary to love something.”

The sad thing is how K-pop idols face racism in an era like this just based on their looks and makeup.

The world has broaden up, the k-pop fans think It’s not a problem for not liking them, not everyone has a same choice but as long as we want live in a world of proper respect and justice; we should respect all.

Pretty explained how BTS helped her to overcome her fears.

“I used to get panicked at some situation which was totally unexpected for me. I didn't have much course to face them. But after knowing BTS I've become much stronger than before. Now I can face that kind of situation bravely. I am so proud that I've changed myself.”

Asking how she thinks of the struggles and hardships BTS faced after their debut she said, “If you want to gain something then you have to work hard. And it's true for every person you know. They have struggled lot to reach the top from the bottom. I cannot express how much I need them in my life; Sometimes I wonder if they’re angels.”

Talking to Muhsinuzzaman Mahim also known as BeastBoiii in BD k-pop community for his amazing Korean singing and rapping skills said as it is very natural when become famous or praiseworthy, a section of people start hurting you in many ways.

“It doesn’t matter to the real one. overlooking criticism, the genius always go ahead in order show the path of love and life” he continued.

“I am proud to be a fanboy, because BTS helped me to realize myself and my capacity. If I am the BeastBoiii I am right now, it’s because Kpop exists, that’s why.”

Talking with Mahim about BTS’ YouTube free concert, lives and 7th years anniversary he said the sweetest words towards the Boygroup and their fandom, “First of all, BTS is going to hit 7 years anniversary, which is a huge milestone, since 7 is a lucky number for them in so many ways. In this pandemic situation, BTS is really doing a great job by holding online concerts on YouTube and stuff. The last Bang Bang Con Online Concert held in YouTube was free for all the viewers, which made the entire fandom rejoice all their previous concerts.”

Not just as group, BTS members are always trying to deliver their solo projects to the fans. All the members are individually perfect as solo artist. On 22nd May, 2020, Suga dropped his 2nd solo mixtape which became a huge hit around the world. D-2 is the second mixtape released by this South Korean rapper Suga also known as Agust D. On 4th June, Jungkook, another member of BTS, released a new solo song titled "Still with You" on Friday. Starting with the sound of rain, "Sill with You" is a ballad about never-ending love, smoothed by a jazzy melody and Jungkook's sweet voice. The other member Taehyung mostly known as V revealed about his upcoming first solo mixtape in his last YouTube live. He ensured his fans that he has been working on his songs and hoping to give the best in his first solo mixtape, he added that he’d try to release the album anytime in this year.

This week BTS members RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope and Suga participated in the virtual graduation ceremony for the class of 2020.

"Dear class of 2020, it's been a strange year so far but you made it. Today we might not have flowers, we might not have graduation caps, but what we do have is possibly the most special graduation ceremony in history," BTS leader RM said in his graduation speech.

Jungkook advised the new graduates to never stop learning new things. “All I've done is continuing on but even today I continue to learn new things. So, here I stand today with my members, with faith in myself, my members and the world.”

Jimin talked about the Covid-19 health issue and sent a sweet wish to their fans, “Remember there is a person here in Korea, in the city of Seoul, who understands you. We are all in different parts of the world, in different environments and circumstances.”

Suga advised the graduates to focus on the changes they can make in the world instead of trying to control something they can’t. “Take your hands off what you can't control and get your hands on what you can change.”

The oldest member Jin talked about his struggles during post-graduation, “Back then, the notion of becoming an adult was something quite scary. I was anxious about making my way into an unfamiliar world, I was cautious of everything I said or did. Sometimes I'd feel restless watching my friends go on far ahead of me. And attempting to keep up with their speed would only leave me breathless,” he recalled.

J-hope the main dancer and the hope of ARMY told the students to have trust themselves in the future saying, “You got this and you can do it.

V, the most playful member in the BTS said, “If there is anyone out there who cannot see where they should be, from here forth I urge you to listen to your heart. I look forward to the day you will stand and tell us your own story," he concluded his speech.

BTS, Big Hit Entertainment & BTS ARMY also stood up for Black Lives Matter petition BTS fans are no strangers to breaking records. Don't underestimate the power of  BTS and their ARMY—the international pop stars have once again shown the power of their social influence as they, along with Big Hit Entertainment and The BTS ARMY, have collectively donated a little over $2 million in support of  Black Lives Matter.

BTS always encourage their fanbase to love themselves; they never forget to emphasis ARMYs’ confidence level throughout these years. By observing and interviewing this powerful ARMY fandom, we clearly get that networks of people ensure the possibilities exponential both in the digital world and the real world. The pride, might, and fight of a fandom that made a global phenomenon as the fans often get criticized by other non-listeners but still choose to stay with their boys all along these years and will forever promise to stay with them.
