Form MP of Jhenaidah-4 constituency and Kaliganj upazila Awami League president and six were reportedly affected by Covid-19. Of them three were identified as physicians.
The number of affected people toll to 28 in the district till Tuesday, said the health department sources. Civil surgeon in Jhenaidah Dr Salina Begum said they received reports of 35 samples from the testing laboratory on Tuesday where seven were detected as Corona affected.
Newly affected two physicians belongs to Jhenidah Sadar, ex lawmaker of Jhenaidah-4 (Kaliganj part) and a nurse in Kaliganj, two women in Shailkupa and a physician at Kotchandpur upazila.
Civil surgeon said they received reports of 280 samples where a total of 28 persons were shown corona positive. Of the affected 17 were identified as physicians and nurses performing duty to treat the Covid 19 affected people throughout the district.
