Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Chairman (Secretary) Md. Amin-ul-Ahsan said that the training center in BPC's Joypahar Estate is located in a green environment. It must be kept polythene-free and clean. No trees can be cut here, there are many nests of birds. We always hear the beautiful sounds of various birds. For this, everyone's cooperation is needed. Garbage should always be thrown in the dustbin. So let's prevent environmental pollution, build a polythene-free country. We must take initiative to avoid plastic products, especially polythene bags, to stop plastic pollution. Otherwise, severe plastic pollution can lead the world to a terrible disaster.
He said these things at a polythene-free and clean program at BPC-owned Joypahar Estate in Jamalkhan on Monday afternoon.
He said, "We have to stop using polythene, we have to maintain a green environment. We have to reduce plastic waste and build a beautiful future. We have to love the environment, so we have to abandon polythene. Let's avoid polythene and give a gift to future generations, this should be our main goal."

Three committees have been formed to regularly supervise the cleanliness activities of Joypahar Estate owned by BPC and to successfully organize and manage the Joypahar Estate Cleanliness Program-2025.
