Taking charge in the second term Vice-Chancellor of the Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain along with the teachers, students, officials and employees of the university paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Thursday.
"Everyone has to follow the rules," he said at the time. Everyone has to work together to make this university a research university.
On Thursday afternoon, Taking charge as the Vice-Chancellor for the second term, Pro. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain paid homage with flowers at the mural of Bangabandhu at Bakultala in Jashore city and at the main gate of JUST. He later planted a tree on campus.
On Tuesday, June 1, with the approval of His Excellency the President and the Chancellor, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education issued a circular appointing him as the Vice-Chancellor of JUST for the second term.
After joining the second term as vice chancellor of JUST, Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain was warmly greeted by the teachers-students, officers, employees, various departments and institutes. At the time, various social and cultural organizations of the university including JUST Nil Dal, JUST Chhatra League, Journalist Association, Sohayak, Rotaract Club, Bangabandhu Sahitya Parishad greeted the new VC.
