Chattogram North District Awami League and Zilla Parishad Chairman MA Salam handed over the blankets to the members at the temporary office of Chattogram Zilla Parishad on Thursday. Chattogram Zilla Parishad Chairman MA Salam said many people in inhumane conditions suffer a lot in winter due to lack of winter clothes. There is a risk of severe cold in front. All the able-bodied individuals and organizations should come forward so that the poor cold-stricken people do not suffer in winter. Especially the elderly and children should be taken care not to get cold.
Chattogram Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Shabbir Iqbal, Secretary Md. Didarul Alam, Members Kazi Abdul Wahab, Jafar Ahmed, Rehena Akhter, Advocate Umme Habiba, Rehena Begum Ferdous Chowdhury, Debabrata Das, Dilwara Karamusuf and other officials were present on the occasion.
