Every district will be under the rail network. At present, 44 districts have railways. Rail line will be set up in the rest other districts. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed to cover all the districts under railway network, said Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan while addressing journalists after visiting the country's lone concrete sleeper plant at Chhatak in Sunamganj.
Rail Minister also said, present government is trying to expand railway across the country. Our common people will choose train journey as the vital communication. We are trying to maintain our standard like the international standrd. We have taken several initiatives to digitalize our railway connection. We will evict all railway's property which was grabbed illegally.
At that time, Director of Bangladesh railway of East Division Md Shamsuzzaman, Deputy-director of Bangladesh Railway Chattogram (East Division) Dhirendra Nath Majumder, GM Nasir Uddin, Chief engineer Suvokto Geen, Police super Mijanur Rahman, Additional Police Super(Chhatak Circle) Md Billal Ahmed along with other were also present.
