The Evercare Group, a leading impact-driven healthcare group investing in emerging markets, on Monday, announced the official inauguration of its latest venture, Evercare Hospital Chattogram, the first ever multispecialty tertiary care hospital in the port city of Bangladesh.
The inauguration proceedings were led by Matthew Hobart, Co-Managing Partner, TPG Growth and Chairman of the Evercare Group Board of Directors; Bob Kundanmal, Chairman of Evercare Hospitals, Bangladesh; and Massimiliano Colella, Group CEO, Evercare Group.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was present on the occasion as Chief Guest and Health Minister Zahid Maleque, Member of Parliament Bar. Anisul Islam Mahmud and Chairman, CDA Alhaj M. Zahirul Alam Dubash were the Guests of Honor.
Commenting on the significance of developing and opening Evercare Hospital Chattogram, Tipu Munshi, Minister of Commerce, said, “When we formed the government for the fourth time in 2019, we promised our people that we will transform Bangladesh into a developed country by 2041 to achieve Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib’s dream of a Golden Bangladesh.”
