Even the death fails to separate father and daughter aftermath of the accident that took place while the members of a family were visiting their relatives’ house.
The incident has created a huge sensation among local people and the photo of father and daughter embracing together even after death has become viral in the social media including on Facebook.
According to sources, around 7:00 am on Tuesday (August) eight people of a family died when a microbus carrying them turned turtle into a roadside ditch at Banshati area under Fulpur upazila on Mymensingh-Sherpur road. Two persons of the microbus were also seriously injured in the accident.
One SakibHasan Swim has posted the picture of dead father-daughter embracing themselves. The hapless father tried to save his daughter even at his last breath.
Imarat Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulpur Police Station informed, being informed personnel of fire services and police rushed to the spot and recovered eight dead bodies from the spot. The identities of the deceased persons have not yet been known. the rescue operation was continuing till to writing of the report.
