An eve teaser teenager was arrested at Chatmohar after multiple complaints against him harassing many girls at
the upazila. After a case filed at Chatmohar Police Station by one of the victims’ father, the alleged eve teaser Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq was arrested by the police.
Locals said that Ashiq was been involved in many eve teasing occurrences. Several students of Choraikol High School became the victim of his teasing. His recent victim, a girl of class ten was harassed beside the school when she refused his proposal. Later, the victim’s father on Wednesday evening filed a case against Ashiq Police later arrested Ashiq on Thursday noon.
Chatmohar Police Station OC Muhammad Anwar Hossain said that the arrestee Ashiq was sent to Juvenile Development Centre. Legal process in this issue is ongoing.
