Evaly celebrates first anniversary

Country’s e-commerce marketplace Evaly has celebrated Victory Day and as well as its first founding anniversary with the slogan ‘Victory is ours, let's move forward’ recently at International Conference Centre, Bashundhara in the capital. 

Around 5000 participants, 3000 customers, thousands of sellers, prominent people of different levels and media professionals attended the celebratoin. 

At the beginning of the event, the digital documentary was presented with a portion of Evaly's last one-year activities for the guests. 

Evaley CEO Mohammad Rassel spoke. "We are only one year old. In any context of e-commerce, a year is a very short time. However, in this short time we have achieved some great successes The number of subscribers registered on our platform is over 12 lakhs, more than 25,000 sellers or merchants”. 

He said, “The Android app has been downloaded for more than half a million times from the Google Play Store. The biggest thing is that shopping in e-commerce is not expensive at all rather one of the most trustworthy and fits in the budget; that we successfully made our customers to believe”.  About the employment, he further said, “Now more than two hundred employees working directly with Evaly. Half of them are female workers. We have a lot of sellers in major cities of the country. In all, we are trying to build an eco-system that we believe to create for a sustainable positive environment in e-commerce in this country”.   Expressing gratitude to everyone for the success of Evaly, Russell said, "When we talk about our success, we actually talk about the success of you all.

 Evaly being native initiative is an asset of the country, owned by all of you. Our Facebook group has about 1.5 lac members, the largest of any e-commerce operated in Bangladesh. But that's all was possible by you. This would not have been possible without the constant support of customers, sellers and media and media workers. We want to take you all forward.

Later, the formality of the banquet was concluded with a dinner and a pleasant cultural event. Hero, TVS Bangladesh, Walton and Esquire Electronics sponsored the event. Uddom was the event partner.
