Ethiopian state minster visits Beximco Industrial Park

 Teka Gebreyesus Entehabu, Ethiopian State Minster for Trade and Industry and his delegations were very impressed to see Beximco’s vertical large scale of textiles operations.

The delegation including Seleshi Lemma Bekele, Director General of Ethiopian Textile Industry Development Institute visited Beximco Industrial Park on Monday. A.S.F. Rahman, Beximco Group Chairman and Syed Naved Husain, CEO & Group Director, Beximco welcomed the delegation members, said a press release.

Teka Gebreyesus said that Ethiopia would be proud to build an industrial park similar to Beximco Industrial Park and would welcome and support Beximco to invest in Ethiopia as well as provide sophisticated technology, knowhow and global market access to Ethiopia.

Syed Naved Husain had visited Ethiopia in 2016 along with PVH to see the feasibility of investing in Africa and also visited the freshly impressive PVH Hawassa Industrial Park.

He at that time also had meetings with Arkebe Oqubay who is also Minister and Special Advisor to Ethiopian Prime Minister. It has decided that Beximco’s top management would again visit and consider the feasibility of investment as Ethiopia has now progressed substantially.
