Speakers at a function on Saturday opined that with the proper use of ICT, entrepreneurs in the country have maintained their economic status online in the corona situation, which is really commendable.
They also said that today, national entrepreneurs are making one of the major contributions to the transformation of Bangladesh from a least developed country to a developing country. Through their effort and new innovations, the country is moving forward at a breakneck pace.
The remarks were made in the launching of Four-day "Startup Incubation Program", organized by the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Divisionat the Rangpur division. The four day program began on March 27 and will continue till March 30 at the RCCI Auditorium of the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) building.
60 young entrepreneurs from 30 selected startups of the Rangpur Division got the opportunity to participate in this free mentoring program.
The inauguration of the activities of "Startup Rangpur" was also held through this program.
The Director (Joint Secretary), Local Government of Rangpur Md. Ibrahim Khan and The Rangpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) president MostofaSohrabChowdhuryTituattended the inauguration as special guests.
The iDEA Project Director (Former) and Additional Secretary Syed MojibulHuq delivered precious speeches for the entrepreneurs by connecting through online video conferencing, as the special guest of the program. Shahnaj Begum, ADC (Education and ICT), Rangpur presided over the function.
The iDEA Project Senior Consultant RHMAlaolKabir gave a welcome speech on the program online.
The incubation is being organized in collaboration with "Rangpur Startup" and Rangpur District Administration. The training partner of the incubation program is "Better Stories" and the event is being implemented by the Management and Training International Limited (MTI LTD).
The team of MTI Ltd. and "Rangpur Startup" is working tirelessly to maintain adequate social distance in the Corona situation and to take adequate measures to complete the organization of the Startup Incubation Program in compliance with hygiene norms.
