Engineer Md Enayet Ullah made DG of BWDB

Engineer Md Enayet Ullah joined the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) as Director General (DG) on Monday.

Prior to joining the post, he served as the Additional Director General (West Region) of BWDB.

He earned his BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) in 1989. He began his professional career in 1993 by joining the Bangladesh Water Development Board as an Assistant Engineer (Civil).

Over the course of his 33-year career, he has served with distinction in several key departments of the board, including the Design Division. As Chief Engineer of the Design Office and later as Additional Director General (East Region), he played a leading role in major national projects related to water resource development, planning, design, and research.

He has also been actively involved on the international stage, representing Bangladesh at numerous international seminars and training programs held in countries such as Indonesia, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Russia, and the USA.

Born in 1967 in a respected Muslim family in Pabna district, Engineer Enayet Ullah is a lifetime member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
