The ongoing construction work of Sarkarerhat Bazar road has been inspected on the spot for its implementation with the higher authorities.
Engineer Mahbub Alam of Patgram Upazila is supervising the work on the spot, under Lalmonirhat LGED. Upazila Engineer Mahbub Alam said the work of this road has been implemented from the ground up under the direction given by the higher authorities.
Around 88 lakh Tk will be spent on the construction of the road. He said that the contractor has been asked to work as per the estimate and the work is being done by being present on the spot.
The executive engineer of Lalmonirhat LGED office said that the work as per the estimate from the contractor will be handed over to the Patgram Upazila Engineer. The work is being done accordingly. But it is not just that the construction of the road will be handed over according to the estimate.
If the quality of the work is poor, the bill will not be paid. Patgram Upazila Engineer Mahbub Alam expressed the same comment.
