An elephant calf was found dead in the Hoarioghona hill at Panerchhara in Ramu upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Tuesday.
It was an Asian female elephant, approximately 7-8 years old. Initially, it is believed that the elephant was killed when it came in contact with electric wires.
