On the occasion of the month of Language Movement a month-long special programme 'Ekushey Amar Ohonkar' will be aired on Bangladesh Television. Shooting of the show has already been completed and it is written and produced by Sadikul Islam Niyogi Panni. The programme has been arranged with discussions of songs, the context of the language movement, readings from Bangabandhu's unfinished autobiography and recitation of poems.
Kamrul Hasan Badal, Mrinmoya Biswas, Anupam Sheel, Farhin Mahmood Khan, Sharmin Mustari Nazu and others will be presenting the program. Romana Sharmin, programme manager at BTV Chattogram Center, is overseeing the programme. Under the supervision of Nitai Kumar Bhattacharya, the general manager of the center, the programme will be aired from BTV Chattogram Center every day at 7.30 pm from today.
