The legendary actress Ferdousi Majumdar has captured the heart of every Bengali person through her captivating multi-dimensional performances. Her unmatched performances in television and stage plays have taken her to a unique height.
She has passed over half a century of acting life and still this talented actress is going strong and working regularly. The actress has witnessed the transformation of local culture prior to and after the Liberation War.
She has numerous rich and colorful experiences. Thus, it is natural to have the urge to know how her life was. There will be a chance to know about her. The talented actress will appear in the show ‘Ek Boktar Boithok’. This prominent actress will come in front of the audience on November 15 in collaboration with Abdullah Al Mamun Theater School and in collaboration with the theater’s magazine.
She is still performing regularly on stage and television plays. However, she has also been seen in films too though the number is not that many. The theater was set up in 1972. Abdullah Al Mamun, Ramendu Majumder and others were a part of it. Ferdousi Majumdar also joined the squad. She has acted in more than 300 plays in Bangladesh Television. Abdullah Al Mamun made a 86 minute documentary on the actress, titled ‘Jibon O Obhinoy’.
