Eight CUET students are going to Norway for different periods under CARE project run by Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) and the University of Agder, Norway.
A meeting of scholarship recipients with the university's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was held at the CUET Syndicate Room on Sunday.
At the time, the university's Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Dean Professor Dr. Kazi Afzalur Rahman, Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Department Head of the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department and CARE Project Project Director Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem, Department Head of the Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering Department Professor Dr. Prasanjit Das and Director of the Student Welfare Department Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubul Alam were present.
Wishing the students success, Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan said, "We are proud that CUET students have the opportunity to pursue higher education in a developed country like Norway.
This achievement is a testament to their talent, hard work and CUET's quality education.
We hope they will bring the country and the university's reputation abroad and play an important role in the country's development in the future."
It is known that a total of 26 students have so far received the opportunity to go to Norway for higher education under the ongoing CARE project run by CUET and the University of Agder, Norway.
This time, 5 students will go to Norway for a 5-month Master's course and 3 students will go to Norway for a 2-year Master's course.
