Meanwhile, 52 pairs of inter-city local trains are scheduled to operate each day, but on Monday 51 pairs of trains operated to different destinations in the country. Sonar Bangla Express did not run on the day, according to the Kamalapur railway station information.

Seven coaches of Chattogram -Dhaka-bound Sonar Bangla Express were damaged due to an accident on Sunday. Sonar Bangla Express from Dhaka to Chattogram was canceled for Monday. Considering the inconvenience to homebound passengers on Eid, the canceled train will leave Dhaka station at 8 am on April 19 after preparing with a set of new rakes.

On the other hand, this year no one is allowed to enter Kamalapur station without a ticket.
