Eid markets sizzling in Thakurgaon

Eid shopping gets momental in various markets and sidewalks of Thakurgaon, the northern district of the country as Eid is at the doorstep. The traffic of buyers is seen from morning to midnight and the crowd of buyers is increasing in the markets.

  Every day, besides the people of the city, buyers from different rural areas are coming to do their shopping. In addition to buying ready-made clothes, young people are buying their favorite clothes to make new clothes. Garment shops are especially crowded. Apart from this, various shops including shoes, cosmetics, panjabi, pant shops also have a different crowd.

Crowds of shoppers were seen at various shopping malls in the city, including North Circular Road, Road Bazaar and Bus Stand Market. Going to the popular fashion, Ghomatasah Garments (clothing store), it is known that customers start gathering at 9 am. Although the number of customers is less till noon, there is more traffic from afternoon to midnight. Most of the buyers are buying Genji, shirt, different types of pants, three-piece, saree, lehenga, veil, pant piece, short pieces etc. Children's clothes are also sold in abundance. Apart from this, the traders have arranged the stalls of clothes of different colors and designs to attract the customers in the shops. Buyers buy only when the choice and price match.

   A seller named Masud Rana said that as Eid is approaching, thus the crowd of buyers is increasing. Bahari design clothes are coming to the Eid bazaar every day. Domestic and foreign new clothes have already arrived in the market. As a result of the increase in the price of everything, not enough buyers coming to the Eid market and shop. However, they expect that the buying and selling will increase in the moment before Eid.

A shopper named Raju Hossain said, Eid is almost at the doorstep. Compared to last year, the prices of everything including clothes have increased this year. As Eid is approaching, the prices of everything are increasing.

A seller named Harun Or Rashid said, "We have brought many new collections this year. But the sales are less than last year because the prices are higher than people's purchasing power." There is a rush of shoppers from late evening till midnight. This year, burkha for girls, three pieces, saree, Punjabi for boys, pants, shirts are selling well. Hope it will be sold till the night of Eid.

Meanwhile, a customer named Sujan Ali from Thakurgaon Road said, I bought many things. The price of clothes this year is higher than last time. The price is roughly within reach.

 A person named Saddam Hossain said, we have a lot of demand for girls' sarees, burkhas and various three-pieces including Jarara, Grown, Lahinga, Dali. During the early days of Ramadan, sales were very low. Now it has increased a lot, he expressed hope that the sales will increase after 20 days.

Asha Binti Rani from Fandabari of Sadar Upazila, along with Sabina and Shimu, who came to shop on the occasion of Eid, said that many new collections have arrived this year. we want to take it when we see it. But due to the high price, it is not possible to buy a lot of clothes.
