Bangabandhu Education Scholarship has been awarded on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It was implemented with the financial support of Bangladesh NGO Foundation and the implementation of the local Bay Government Development Organization Dhari.
DC of Fardipur Atul Sarkar handed over the scholarships to the students as the chief guest in the conference room of DC office on Wednesday.
Saidur Rahman Mridha, Assistant Director, Department of Social Services, Bilayet Hossain, Executive Director, Pathkali, ANM Fazlul Hadi Sabbir, Executive Director, BFF and Asma Akter Mukta, Executive Director, Rasin spoke on the occasion.
The second installment of Bangabandhu BNF scholarship was distributed among 18 poor students of Char Madhabdia United High School, 10 poor students of Madhabdia Moyejuddin High School and 10 poor students of Abul Hossain College in the char area of Faridpur Sadar Upazila.
