Educational materials and seasonal fruits were distributed among the orphan students in Narail on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara distributed educational materials and seasonal fruits among the orphan students of Barashula Shishu Sadan Complex and Seemakhali Orphanage on the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's Office which was organised by volunetary organisation Swapner Khoje Foundation.
Nezarat Deputy Collector (NDC) Md. Zahid Hasan, District Jubo Mohila League Convenor Nasima Rahman Polly, Former Vice President of Narail Press Club Sultan Mahmood, Councilor of Narail Municipality Sharful Alam Litu, Founder of Swapner Khoje Foundation Mirza Galib Satej,Director of the Barashula Shishu Sadan complex Md. Yusuf Ali, teacher of Seemakhali Orphanage Md. Sher Ali among others present on the occasion.
Swapner Khoje Foundation sources said, educational materials and seasonal fruits like mango, jackfruit, pineapple, banana, and guava have been distributed among the orphan students in the corona crisis period.
Besides, tree saplings were planted on the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office on the initiatives of the foundation. Mirza Ghalib Satej, an eighth-semester student in computer science and engineering at Daffodil University, said that volunteers of the organization planted more than 100 saplings at home grounds of Chandibapur and Dakkin Narail area in the recent days.
