Edn conference held in Khulna

An educational conference and workshop was organised under the ‘Strengthening Primary Education’ programme to assist disadvantaged children at CSS Ava Center at Rupsa upazila in Khulna on Monday. Speakers of the programme said that the organisation is conducting the programme in a bid to strengthening primary education in the country. At the present, about 4,80,000 students of poor families are being benefited through 15,200 education centers of one thousand branches in 63 districts. A total of 10,000 students are being benefited through 350 education centers of 20 branches under the programme in Khulna district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Khulna (ADC-general) Ziaur Rahman chaired the event, while Executive Vice President of ASA Mohammad Fazlul Haque inaugurated the conference. District Primary Education Officer ASM Sirajuddoha was the special guest. ASA officials, including managers and field officers, education workers and journalists were present there.
